Industry meeting of the IT security officers in the public sector

The network of the IT security officers in the public sector is still young and is starting to consolidate. Especially at this point in the process the PITS is of increasing importance. The structure of public IT security gets stronger and a growing number of security professionals are joining. In 2011 hackers have started the era of cyber attacks. Many spectacular attacks on enterprise IT systems as well as on public institutions have occurred since and the incidents have presented us with facts of the digital society’s vulnerability. The IT security convention Public IT Security 2013 is focused especially on the protection of the governmental IT infrastructure against cyber attacks.
