Ramon Mörl, Managing Director of itWatch GmbH, is awarded the Cyber Security Best Practice Award 2019 on 05.12.2019 by Mr. Michael Bartsch from Deutor Cyber Security Solutions GmbH, Managing Director, for his services to secure Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Dipl. Inform. Ramon Mörl has been contributing his experience of cost-effective use of secure IT systems from major international projects to itWatch GmbH as managing director. Through being involved in politics, associations and projects, he is always committed to the further development of IT security, even beyond technological aspects.
itWatch products have been protecting users of Microsoft operating systems against threats since 1997. The itWatch Enterprise Security Suite (itWESS), consisting of 14 modules, fits into any security architecture. With more than 500 man-years of research, itWatch has been solving many problem issues concerning IT security on a sustainable basis. The intensive tests have shown that the security architecture based on a kernel mode driver is clearly superior to other systems, which are often based on system services.
Deutor and the jury members of the Deutor Cyber Security Best Practice Award have been convinced of the quality of the products in many system-critical installations over many years. So in 2019 they came to the conclusion that these practically implemented research results are worthy of the Cyber Security Best Practice Award to honor outstanding work in cybersecurity.
The prize was awarded in Saarbrücken by the DEUTOR Cyber Security Solutions, Cisco, COMPEXPOSIUM, Cyber Risk, GPEC, NSIDE Attack Logic, nuix,, TÜV TRUST IT, ZF Friedrichshafen and Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
