itWatch and WIBU Systems are cooperating
WIBU Systems and itWatch have been working together to develop a locked down desktop on a mobile flash drive. The project’s aim was to create a infrastructure for an efficient centralized management, allowing the installation and use of applications on the mobile system. The portable system can be installed on any standard operating system. The solution comprises a secure processing environment and a secure mobile system. The working environment is secured by the itWatch Enterprise Security Suite, being installed on a device like a notebook or PC. WIBU S4 stick in turn provides flash memory and a cryptographic infrastructure as well as secure storage for sensitive information like security profiles or keys. As a result security risks at using a third-party system are reduced to a minimum.
